Gianni Bruno from Zulte-Waregem is on his way to the Primera Division, reports La Gazetta dello Sport. The Italian-Belgian attacker is said to be of interest to Alaves and Zaragoza.
According to Italian media, Alaves and Zaragoza would try to close a deal with Zulte-Waregem this week. Bruno has been playing at Zulte-Waregem since the summer of 2019, before that he played three seasons for Cercle Brugge. Thanks to the promotion with Cercle, he played in the spotlight and decorated a transfer to Zulte-Waregem. So now he seems on his way to Spain.
Bruno had no wrong season at Zulte-Waregem. It fought for Play-Off 1 for a long time, but had to release the rope at the end of the competition. Thanks in part to Bruno, the West-Flanders could participate for a long time for Play-Off 1. The attacker scored a total of 12 goals in 32 games for Zulte-Waregem. He has a contract until the summer of 2021.
